ABOUT ME

My name is Johan Lotand, born in Sweden. 

 

Started as a musician on stage I am now solely a songwriter with focus on rock, soul and blues without the boring parts :-).

 

I have had the luck to be among the top five finalists in several USA songwriting contests.

 

Finalist in Houston based international songwriting contest,  Song Of The Year, five times now. In a good mood I also tried in Great Britain and came to semifinal in UK songwriting contest three times. To flirt with the other side of the Earth I entered Australias biggest competition, ASA International Songwriting Contest, 2013 I was among the top ten. Thank you for that Australia!
